Event President’s Choice Precious Diamonds 2024-25
“Mahesh Utsav” under President Choice Program was successfully organized at “Patwardhan Hall Mira Housing Society” on Sunday, 23rd June 2024. As the name implies entire Program was based on theme related to Mahesh Bhagwan along with message on Social awareness. Program was attended by 70 plus members and invitees. Shri Shamsundarji Kalantri, Senior Social worker was Chief guest of the function.
Mr. Maheshji Somani President Pune District Maheshwari Sabha ,Mrs Shruti Karnani, MPF President; Mr Vimal Karnani Mahesh Gaurav Joint Governor attended the program.
All the members and guests were welcomed with Chandan Tilak (bearing Trishul symbol) on forehead and Shiv -Parvati badge. The program started with procession of Palkis of Mahesh Bhagwan and Parvati Devi It was followed by Mahesh Puja and ‘Deep Prajvalan’ Mahesh Vandana was sung by Sangeeta Laddha.
Throughout the program in between Quiz related to Bhagwan Mahesh was conducted and prizes to winners were given by BODs .
Two beautiful dances –Ganesh Vandana and Shiv Tandav were presented by Minal Kabra and Reva Samdani respectively.
Program started with Deep Prajwalan by Chief guest, Shreekantji Lakhotiya with President Pushpaji and BOD Shantaji .
President Pushpaji welcomed all guests and Precious diamond members and shared her vision about program. Pledge was taken for Tree plantation by all Members. Pushapaji appealed all to keep rivers clean and briefed about bioenzymes useful for this purpose. Posters were displayed in front of stage as a part of awareness campaign.
All the guests were felicitated by President Pushpaji and BOD Shantaji.
Shamsundarji Kalantri addressed this August gathering and enlightened about wrong practices/customs in our society.
Shrikantji Lakhotiya was felicitated by giving “Precious Ratna Sanman Patra” for his Social work especially free of cost Marriage Bureau since last 31 yrs. Shrikantji addressed all members regarding his work and expressed gratitude for his felicitation by MPF PRECIOUS DIAMONDS.
Main attraction of the program was Bhajan Sandhya by Sangita Laddha and team. It was a grand success and many members danced to the tunes of devotional bhajans.
It was followed by Lecture on Yoga for Senior Citizens by Ravina Kalantri.
It was followed by dance by BODs along with Ravina Kalantri and Pallavi Karwa on song “Hum hai Maheshwari”.
As a part of Social awareness our guest Dwarkadasji Mantri gave pledge to all members on not wasting food .
MOC for Program was Dr. Sunanda Mantri and Dr .Nisha Mundada . Lastly winners for various online competitions specially taken for this event were declared by Nisha Mundada and prizes were given by
Chief Guest and Pushpaji. Beautiful flower Rangoli was done by Shantaji and team .
Chairman Nisha Mundada expressed Vote of thanks. The program concluded with Rashtrageet followed by delicious dinner
