Event President’s Choice Central 2024-25
The “Anand Utsav,” as the name suggests, was a joyous celebration, embraced in an anandmai vatavaran. With rain pouring down throughout the event, it felt as though nature itself was blessing the occasion, reminiscent of the night Lord Krishna was born, which was also marked by a divine downpour. Celebrated on Friendship Day, the event beautifully captured the theme of friendship and bonding, core values of MPF. A special focus was placed on the legendary friendship of Krishna and Sudama, an iconic and heartfelt symbol of devotion, which was depicted in the Krishna-Sudama Milan jhanki. This portrayal reminded everyone of the purity and selflessness in true friendship.
Conducted by Kamlesh Ji Maharaj, the celebration featured four enchanting jhankis: the birth of Krishna, Dahi Handi, Govardhan Parvat, Krishna-Sudama Milan, and the lively Raas Lila, which brought everyone together in devotion and joy. Embracing the theme of simplicity and creativity, the event was organized with available resources, showing that true festivity comes from the heart. Later, the gathering enjoyed a grand Chappan Bhog, a playful ful ki holi, and a reverent aarti.
Delicious food added to the experience, making this Anand Utsav a beautiful blend of spirituality, simplicity, friendship, and joy for all who attended.
