Event Picnic North 2023-24
This year MPF North’s Picnic was arranged on 21st January 2024 at Chondhe Farm, Lonikand, Pune. The theme for the picnic was ROADIES and was a full day event. This year’s PICNIC turned out as an enthralling and engaging ‘Team Building’ exercise and increased the bonding between members especially for the new comers.
Picnic committee led by Vishal Laddha (Director) meticulously planned entire event including all the Roadies tasks. All members were divided in Six Roadies Gangs: Charley Red, Victor White, Tango Yellow, Delta Green, Alpha Orange and Bravo Blue. All the Roadies Tasks were explained to Gang Leaders and Gangs in turn met multiple times to prepare strategies for Roadies Tasks.
The tasks played in 5 rounds wherein the physical and mental strength of the members was tested. Starting from relatively easy tasks after every round the level of toughness was increasing reaching upto its peak in the Roadies finale round.
Finale round was between Tango Yellow and Delta Green wherein with very thin margin Tango Yellow won the Roadies Gang Title.
In Award Ceremony the Winner Gang Tango Yellow did voting to select one Roadie for 2024 and Ashish Bang got selected scoring only one extra vote over Girish Saboo.

Kids, junior committee, awarded the winner Roadies Gang. This unique way was adopted to recognize the efforts of the Kids who did various co-ordination work and supported on the ground during the Tasks.
From conceptualizing the Roadies theme to doing various detailing required for the tasks was done by the Picnic Director Vishal Laddha who was ably supported by Pallavi Laddha, Chairwoman Darshana Jakhite, Sachin and Priti Somani, Sanjay and Samruddhi Maheshwari.
In the later part of the day members enjoyed various activities provided at the venue with Hurda party and games conducted by Mrs. Suvidha Somani.
