Event Joy of Life PCMC 2023-24
Mahesh Professional Forum, PCMC chapter recently organized a program ‘Joy of Life 2023’ at Snehawan, Koyali Phata, Koyali Tarf, Chakan, on 2nd July 2023.
The theme was Vari- the procession to devotion, sacrifice & commitment leading to enlightening smiles following the Pandharpur vari days mood and the overall cause – where we say hands that help are as beautiful as that hands that fold for praying.
More than 200 members attended the event. MPF – Zone 3 Deputy Governor Jyoti Mantri, and other dignitaries were also present. Entire Snehavan family along with founder Mr. Deshmane, participated in Dindi with great enthusiasm.
The idea of organizing art-science dindi (procession) with the help of small maulis i.e. Children of Snehwan was the brainchild of Mr. Vikas Rathi, President of the PCMC branch of the organization and Mrs. Deepashri Sandesh Maniyar, Director of Joy of Life event. The Joy of Life committee shown great dedication towards the cause & did a remarkable job of executing the plans very well.
“Kala Vigyan.. Hey Amha Vitthal” was the hymn of the little varakaris on the path of education. In the vicinity of the recently constructed ‘Vithai’ and ‘Mauli’ buildings truly divine morning spent by members. Few mentioned their perspective towards life has seen great change after this event.
The program started with a Mallakhamba demonstration and a symbolic Dindi by the resident children of Snehawan. After that, through talk show – interview with the founder of Snehavan, Mr. Ashokji Deshmane, it was possible to learn about his tough journey here and the help given by the common people. The purpose of the event was to salute his wonderful & tremendous hard work to educate children from the families of the farmers that committed suicide. Going beyond this initial aim, today we can witness his smart approach towards running a cost-effective premise by following simple environmental science.
In the society in which we live, the zeal to inculcate good manners – good thoughts, in a progressive manner in the next generation can be seen clearly in the work of Mr. Deshmane. The project started by Mr. Deshmane in Bhosari for the education of the children of suicidal farmers has taken the form of “for the people and by the people” concept due to the genuineness of founder & his team. The interview in this work sequence made everyone introspective about their social duties as well which was magical. The program was concluded with pasaydana by well-known social worker of PCMC – Dr. Sandeep Baheti. All the listeners were very appreciative of divine experience! The project and the program both received lot of praise and people expressed their willingness to help Snehwan in all the possible ways!
Few days before this program, a visit for ashram kids at R. K. Food Products, Chinchwad MIDC was arranged by forum. Mr. Vikasji Rathi (Proprietor of R.K. Food Products) provided important guidance regarding bakery business management to the kids. Mr. Ashok Deshmane also emphasized that the noble spirit of members of MPF is highly appreciable.
