Editorial: A Kingdom of Dreams – Celebrating the Spirit of Diwali
On October 19th, an enchanting program was organized at Navale Lawns that brought together creativity, tradition, and community spirit under the theme of “Kingdom of Dreams.” The event was a unique celebration of Diwali, where participants recreated the grandeur of forts—symbols of strength and unity—through various engaging activities.
Participants were provided with materials by the Diwali Committee to construct forts representing their kingdoms. Alongside fort-making, they were tasked with crafting themed costumes, creating slogans, choreographing dances, and completing a series of challenges. Each task aimed to showcase their innovation, teamwork, and dedication to their respective “kingdoms.”
The energy reached its peak during the lively procession, where participants proudly presented their creations, danced to vibrant rhythms, and chanted spirited slogans, breathing life into the festive atmosphere.
The program culminated with the announcement of winners, where a treasure-filled pot of golden chocolates symbolized their triumph and hard work. The event witnessed the gracious presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Deputy Governor of Diwali Milan Zone 2, Anjali Karwa, Additional Governor Ramesh Toshniwal, GC Secretary Purushottam Mundada, GC Chairman Dr. Ashok Laddha, MFCT Secretary Gopal Jaju, and MFCT President Shruti Karnani, who added prestige to the occasion and encouraged the participants with their inspiring words also
The Diwali Committee Under the guidance of project chairman Mr. Shivkumar Chandak and Director Archana Mundra work hard to make this event Grand and successful.
This event not only celebrated the cultural essence of Diwali but also fostered teamwork, creativity, and a sense of community. It served as a memorable platform for participants to showcase their talents and create lasting memories, truly living up to the spirit of the “Kingdom of Dreams.”
