Event Battle of Professionals East 2023-24

Internal Badminton 3.0 and Table Tennis 1.0

Venue – D Shuttle Academy, Mundhwa

Date – 2nd July 2023

There were close to 100 entries for Badminton and Table tennis. Badminton for kids under 12 years was an individual event.

And winner in this category was Daksh Holani and runner up was Rachit Zamwar. All players above 12 yrs. played as a team.

Eight teams consisting of 9 players each were formed which had a mix of male and female players. All players were divided into nine different categories based on skill level.

And one player from each category was part of one team. Teams were selected by chits based on categorization. Shuttle Strikers (Team Green, B) was the winning team.

Atul Sikchi, Harshil Nyati, Hitesh Ajmera, Krishna Kabra, Nalin Holani, Dr Namrata Bhandari, Pawan Falor, Rupa Taori and Dr Vishnu Sarda were part of this team. Flying Falcon (Team Brown, E) were runner up.

Madhusudan Mantri, Mahesh Kabra, Mayur Toshniwal, Niraj Bhutada, Prathamesh Malpani, Pushkar Bang, Shikha Mohta, Shraddha Mundada and Vishal Lahoti were part of this team.

The format was such that the winning team had the youngest player (Harshil Nyati) and the oldest players (Pawan Falor) in the same team. Table tennis was an individual event. Pankaj Rathi lifted the winner’s trophy and Paresh Taori picked up the runner up trophy.
