The event day started with welcoming at the entrance at 5.00 pm. with traditional tikka, some cash money coupons, and a bracelet of specific color depicting a group.
Enjoying their hi tea, everyone from children to adults to Grey hair, all were engrossed at the party lawn with various activities. With attendance well above expectations, it had a feeling of fusion of modern and traditional ‘Deep Utsav’
At 6.45 pm, hi tea with many food options had to be stopped, and children entertained all with their flash mob, followed by electrifying crackers.
Until the time all mpf members could come out of the activities, a procession started towards the banquet area with their respective colored bracelets together.
On settling down, started indoor activities led by Abhay Jaju, managing all with fun filled games.
Fillers had few dance performances to some Bollywood tunes, engaging all the spectators in the banquet hall.
In the end, after a unique vote of thanks in her own style, the director declared the end of the event, and the buffet counter was opened to all. With our immediate past president, current president, and the president elect with all the BOD members, the wastage of food wasn’t allowed, and the plate count was well within the reach.
