In the heart of summer, where the sun blazes high and spirits soar even higher, the BCL 2024 unfolded like a grand symphony of cricket, passion, and unyielding camaraderie. This year’s event was more than just a tournament—it was a celebration of the love for cricket, a festival of fierce competition, and a showcase of sheer determination.
🔨 Auction Fever: The Battle Lines Were Drawn
On the misty morning of 7th April, as the first light of dawn kissed the city awake, Te Amo became the epicenter of excitement. The auction began at 7:30 am, a battlefield of strategies and dreams, where teams were forged and rivalries ignited. The air buzzed with anticipation as players were picked, and battle lines were drawn. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the Title Sponsor, Parchay Capital, and co-title sponsors, Bajaj Finserv and ONYX Realty, for fueling this cricketing carnival. A special nod to Venkateshji Zawar, whose efforts brought these champions of support on board. With the auction done and dusted, a sumptuous breakfast and lunch were served, the perfect fuel for the cricketing warriors gearing up for glory.
🏅 Kids BCL: A Glimpse of Tomorrow’s Stars
On 28th April, the future of cricket took center stage at the Pushpa Sports Arena. The Kids BCL was a curtain-raiser, a prelude to the epic battles that would soon follow. From 4 pm to 10:30 pm, young cricketers, divided by age groups, showcased skills that belied their years. Their hearts beat to the rhythm of the game, and every shot, every wicket was a testament to their unbridled passion. The crowd watched, mesmerized, as the young guns blazed the field. The victors of this spirited contest were:
– Age 7-10: Nihaan Royals
– Age 11-13: Bright Champions
– Age 14-18: Everstone Strikers
🎉 Main Event: The Thrill of the Game
Then came the day that every cricket lover had marked on their calendar—4th May. The sun had barely risen when Rajyog Lawns transformed into a cricketing coliseum. The Opening Ceremony at 7 am was a spectacle in itself, graced by our distinguished Chief Guest, Mr. Girishji Dapkekar, whose presence added a touch of grandeur to the occasion. Hats off to Jiteshji Bhutada for orchestrating this unforgettable start! As a token of gratitude, each sponsor was gifted a beautiful Acrylic replica of Ram Mandir, a symbol of our deep appreciation.

As the clock struck 8:45 am, the battlefield was set, and the warriors in white took their places. The BoP Committee left no stone unturned—four meals a day kept everyone fueled, physios were on standby to heal any battle wounds, and a giant LED screen ensured that no one missed a single moment of the action. For those who couldn’t be there in person, YouTube live streaming brought the pulse-pounding matches straight to their screens.
The matches were nothing short of epic. Under the scorching summer sun, the players displayed resilience and skill that turned the heat into mere background noise. Every ball bowled was a challenge accepted, every shot played was a statement made. And yet, amidst the fierce competition, the true spirit of cricket shone through—sportsmanship, respect, and the love of the game.

As the clock ticked towards midnight on 5th May, the Closing Ceremony brought this cricketing saga to a spectacular close. At 11:30 pm, under a sky glittering with stars, the champions were crowned. Our heartfelt thanks to Chief Guest Ganeshji Bhutada for honoring us with his presence and to Maheshji Somani and Pankajji Karwa for their unwavering support in making this event a success.
