Battle of Professionals Youth 2024-25

Kurukshetra 3.0 was an unforgettable celebration of sports, teamwork, and passion! With 6 determined teams, over 90 players, and a buzzing crowd, the event brought out the best in competition and camaraderie.
The journey began with the auction on November 10th at The Grand Tulip, Swargate.
Captains, retains, and team owners carefully picked their squads in a lively and strategic bidding session. The highlight of the event was the launch of the Kurukshetra Anthem, created by the Sports Committee to add energy to this year’s edition.
Practice sessions followed, including a surprise game on November 23rd, “Dog & The Bone with a Twist,” which encouraged bonding amongst teams before the main days kicked off. The surprise sport left participants with plenty of laughter and memories, and helped participants know 2-3 more youth members.

The Grand Opening

The main event started on November 30th at 7 AM, with bonus points for the first two teams to report on time. The Opening Ceremony included team introductions, the National Anthem, Mahesh Vandana, sponsor felicitations, and even a quick cricket match with the sponsors and MFCT members.
The day’s first sport, Cricket, delivered thrilling moments, ending with Shobha’s Spice Strikers lifting the title after a nail-biting final against Rathi Royals.
In the afternoon, the second sport, Ten Passes, began. All teams entered the playing field with utmost zeal. This fast-paced game tested agility and strategy, with IESG Panthers beating Medevice Mavericks to claim victory in the final with a huge sweep.

The Excitement Builds

The second day on December 1st started with the third sport, Lagori, on a rather chilly morning. First two teams to arrive in time were rewarded bonus points. The league matches, semifinals, and finals were full of action, with Medevice Mavericks and Rathi Royals battling it out in the final and Rathi Royals winning it.

The day ended with the much-loved sport, Football, kicking off at 4 PM. The finals between IESG Panthers and Senfa Strikers kept everyone on edge, and in an unexpected twist, Senfa Strikers emerged victorious.

The Closing Ceremony

The event wrapped up with a grand Closing Ceremony. Sponsors, MFCT members, andparticipants gathered to celebrate the achievements of players and teams:

Didn’t Just Create Impact, Left A Mark!

Kurukshetra 3.0 wasn’t just a grand on-ground event—it made waves online too and all the numbers spoke for it. A month-long social media contest for the six teams engaged the audience, and the team with the most likes emerged victorious garnering over 100K views for the sponsors.
Kurukshetra 3.0 brought together more than 200 attendees and created an exciting buzz online, reaching over 128K views, 22K+ accounts, and generating 4K+ profile visits on the MPF Youth Instagram page. For the first time in the history of MPF & MFCT, an Anthem was created – The Kurukshetra 3.0 Anthem.

Kurukshetra 3.0 truly embodied the spirit of Jeet. Jazba. Junoon., leaving us all with memories to cherish and bonds to celebrate.
