Jugadu Karigari (Skill Development)
Keeping in line with the youthful vibe of MPF youth members and the perpetual eagerness to learn and have fun, MPF Youth organized a skill development event. The objective of the event was to learn something new as a group, interact with one another, show some creativity and make memories.
The ‘Jugadu Karigari’ event was held on 11th August 2024 at Phadke Hall, Pune. The judging panel, comprising renowned architects Ar. Niranjan Sikachi and Ar. Shreya Sikachi, along with mentors Mr. Dinesh Mundada and Mrs. Preeti Bhutada, evaluated the presentations and selected winners based on their innovative ideas, sustainability, cost effective and captivating advertisements.
Event centred around the concept of building and selling homes, with a creative twist. Participants were divided into groups, each tasked with constructing their dream house, but with an added layer of excitement through bidding for premium items. The event fostered teamwork and creativity as groups named their houses and prepared advertisements for their creations. The event concluded with the announcement of winners and runners-up, celebrating the hard work and creativity of the participants.
The event was organized under the leadership of Skill Development Director – Sakshi Dhoot and the Chairperson – Sakshi Ladda. The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, and many even expressed their gratitude for the opportunity of learning, having fun, and showing creativity.
The experiential event encouraged the participants to step out of their comfort zones, show creativity, egotiate, team work and practice new techniques. As a result, the event will serve as a foundation for future skill-building endeavors within the MPF Youth community.
