Event Joy of Life North 2023-24
MPF North conducted its “Joy of Life Event” on 25 June 2023 (i.e. Sunday) from 8.30 am to 11.30 am. To spread the message of joy of giving, a blood donation camp was organized in association with well know institution in this field “Raktache Nate”.
Parallel to blood donation magic show and drawing activity was also organised to joyfully engage the kids.
The event started 8.15 am with inauguration by our chief guest Mr Ram Bangadaji. He encouraged the people for contributing to social cause by explaining the daily need of blood for the Pune city and country at large. Mr Ramesh ji Toshniwal deputy Governor also attended the inauguration.
Acute shortage of blood in Pune was the reason to finalize blood donation camp. One blood donation helps to save three lives. This is the most precious gift of life which one can give to other. This encourages people to think beyond themselves and give back to society.
Deputy Governor for the JOL event for the zone – Deepa ji Darak not only attended the event but also actually participated by donating the blood.
All the donors received certificate from the Jehangir hospital blood bank. MPF North also received certificate of appreciation for achieving 43 donors during this blood donation campaign from Jahangir hospital blood bank.
To make the events successful many flyers were circulated by MPF members at different point in time. Due to its noble cause the event was not restricted to MP of members but also open to any donor. MPF members also got non MPF members to contribute to this Noble cause.
Snacks boxes of optimum quantity was given to adults and kids to avoid any food wastage.
Anup Baheti played important role by identifying venue with no cost.
Digital team – Shubham Karwa and Sachin Somani gave immense support by making relevant flyers and videos for the event.
